WHO'S THIS MIKE GUY, ANYWAY?
I’ve had an interesting career so far. I’ve built two, make it three, creative departments from scratch, made a TV spot from a WWII bunker in Poland, and fed wild lines to Joan Rivers from up a tree. I created a piece of content that broke the internet, changed social media forever, and ended up in Twitter’s IPO. Oh, and I was almost killed by an anaconda
.
In my work, I strive to keep things simple, relatable, and insightful. For my team, I provide opportunities, support, and, above all, respect. As for myself, I try to get some sleep once in a while. I have a tireless work ethic and aim to keep the job fun and productive for everyone.
TV, social, gadgets, experiential, skywriting—it doesn’t matter; I can play anywhere.

Publicis Modem
Associate Creative Director

This was my first job in the digital space (outside of writing emails at DraftFCB) and on my first day, the ECD said, "Here' you're going to be the lead creative on all things digital for Delta Air Lines." Um, ok. They were just coming out of bankruptcy and we seized on the opportunity to do some amazing work. We were some of the first movers in the Facebook apps space and created podcast programs before podcasts were podcasts. Was a great experience that jump-started my career.

It was my first real agency job, so I wrote pretty much everything from half a billion scripts for Compaq/HP to another half a billion print ads for Verizon Wireless and Avis.
